Abu Dhabi gets ready for the F1

ABU DHABI`S first executive airport the Al Bateen, which is run by the Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC), will host a higher than average number of visitors during the Abu Dhabi GP between the 11-13 November.

Last year the airport handled nearly a hundred commercial aircraft’s during the formula one weekend and this year they have increased their facilities to help it cope.

The airport has promised free parking for all visitors into the newly refurbished facilities and the appearance of it’s the new DhabiJet FBO.

All the F1 Grand Prix visiting crew will be entitled to a complimentary snack and drink in the garden seating area.

Steve Jones, General Manager of Al Bateen Executive Airport commented: “The addition of our impressive DhabiJet FBO and the new crew lounge demonstrates our proactive stance on leading business aviation in the Middle Eastern region. The F1 event represents an excellent platform from which to demonstrate our service provision.”

The airport is in an ideal situation for the F1 with the Yas Island F1 circuit situated just 15 minutes away.
