Rolls-Royce go electric

LUXURY car manufacturer Rolls-Royce have launched it’s first electric powered car the Phantom 102EX.
The new model can reach up to 125 miles when fully charged and the model has been touring the globe to gauge opinion from Rolls-Royce owners and potential customers. Instead of a 6.75-liter V-12 engine a 71 kilowatt-hour lithion-ion battery was installed within the cars frame.
Chief executive Torsten Muller-Otvos said in a statement. “We have engineered the world’s first battery electric vehicle for the ultra-luxury segment,”
There are no plans yet to release a production version until the electric model is tested in extreme conditions and how far the model can last between charge ports.
