British architect buys Obama’s rental vineyard

A rental home used by USA president Barack Obama for the last three summers has been sold to British Architect Norman Foster for nearly £14.5 million.

The Martha Vineyard luxury home which is also known as Blue Heron Farm has 28½ acres of land.The property includes two large homes, equestrian facilities, a tennis court, a basketball court and a par-three golf course. The architect’s new home also boasts a reconstructed 150-year-old Pennsylvania hay barn, a swimming pool and a vast space of gardens.
